I am very new to this and really need some expert advice. I have never used an RC helicopter before but from what i have gathered it is pretty difficult to use. Firstly i need a good helicopter for a max of about £120. Now here's what i want to do. I need an outdoor RC helicopter that has a far range easy to steer and most importantly able to carry the weight of a small camera as i want to fly it above my house and around my village. It has to be obviously pretty well built to take the wind. Now i bet one of you will say, start with a beginners one first and practice. Well i don't have time, i need to learn and get this fast and don't have time and money to waste around. so to sum it up i need a good outdoor helicopter that can take the wait of a small camera, is not badly affected by wind and most important has a long distance range.

Thanks

Appreciated
Okay i thought that would be the problem, any chance i could get for £200-300?

For a budget of £120 you have very little chance I am afraid.

The chances of you flying an RC helicopter without hours of expert tuition are ZILCH/No way possible. Also have you considered the liabilities involved if you were to cause damage/injuries with a machine like that?
If time is the essence, I suggest you hire in an aerial photo company to do the work.

I would highly suggest at least putting a few hours on a simulator first. Trust me IT IS NOT AT ALL EASY. And the further it gets the harder it is to maintain orintation. I just started 3D flight with my heli and am nervous as heck every time I pull an inverted manuver! And I've been at it for almost a year and logged hours apon hours on a sim! Plus for a heli of the kind you are describing it would cost upwards of $1000 to get it all together and the worst of it is that it will come in a kit that you will have to build. You could always get a smaller heli and a camera system like the "dragonfly innovations eyecam" but for a RTF (ready to fly) mini heli and the camera system you are already looking at around $700. Dragonfly also has a gyro stabilized camera system that is heli and camera all together but that alone is around $1200 and also not easy to fly. I would suggest going to a local RC club and asking if someone there can help you out.

Use the money to hire a heli and pilot for an hour and have him fly you around your village. I gaurantee you'll just crash before you get your pics, so there'd really be no point.
