Throttle rate of ESC, matching between gyro and esc

Postby ensaaj on Sun Mar 07, 2010 7:37 pm

Dear friends

This is my first time and my english is not so good.
I am building a multirotorcraft for a science project using 10x4.5 propeller which is directly driven by 1100 kv brushless DC motor from e-max. At the moment I am using a 40A esc and the whole system operate using remote-controlled system and it work fine ( the system is rotationally unstable due to angular momentum unbalanced, but vertically stable ).

my inquiries is that I may want to install a rate gyro or heading-hold gyro to stabilize the vehicle, however it is important to know the throttle rate of the ESC that I use.
a. How it is possible to determine the throttle rate of ESC
c. Is there any simple experiment to find (a)
b. Does ESC with different Amp give different throttle rate

Appreciate for all kind of input

I'm not sure what you mean by throttle rate?

All the setup options for the ESC would be determined by the motor you're using and should be supplies with it.
